Creating Art That Speaks Beyond Words
Creating art that speaks beyond words is at the heart of my process.
Each new painting reminds me how powerful art can be in expressing emotions that language can’t fully capture. When I step into the studio, I don’t always know how a piece will unfold—whether it will flow with ease or challenge me with frustration and doubt. Yet in that uncertainty lies the truth of creating: every brushstroke reveals something deeper, something more human, something words cannot say.
Every painting takes me through waves of frustration, failure, excitement, and doubt. One moment I feel clear and aligned, the next I’m lost, questioning every decision.
It doesn’t always feel good, but it always feels real because art reflects back how we are showing up in the world, what’s moving inside us, and what we haven’t been able to see yet inside ourselves.
Art doesn’t need our precision or explanations—it speaks truth.
More than words. More than reason.
All human.
